For the first time in a while, we're seeing crypto volatility with an upward trend! Could this be the start of a crypto bull market? What are your thoughts? 🤔
🗞️ The News
One thing that caught my attention to proposal to activate ARB (the Arbitrum governance token) staking. Could be an interesting price driver.
An “EtherRock” NFT was purchased for 100 ETH this week. Is this the prove that the market is in “bull mode” or that we haven’t learned anything from last cycle?🤦🏻♂️.
Okex exchanges announces new Ethereum layer 2. The L2/Multichain narrative keeps growing!
This week’s crypto ETF News:
👀 Project I’m looking at
Last week I told you I was learning about Homomorphic Encryption. This technology is a groundbreaking achievement and is often referred to as the 'holy grail' of cryptography. Wouldn't it be amazing if there was a project fully dedicated to bringing this technology to the crypto space? 🙂
Well, there is one, it’s called Fhenix Blockchain and looks very promising. One of the primary challenges in advancing this technology has been the high processing costs associated with running encrypted computations. However, the landscape is changing as many companies are starting to manufacture specialised hardware for FHE. Once this happens, FHE will be closer to practical application than ever before. Exciting times ahead! 🚀
🤓 What am I learning?
This week I’ve been playing around with Multisig Safe Wallet, which is one of the best solutions in the market. I really like the UI and how it allows setting up various owners for a wallet. Here’s an explanation of multisigs, in case you’ve never heard of them.
🚨 Security Stuff
Justin Sun’s exchange Poloniex had its hot wallets drained of $126M on November 10th. Ouch! 🫤
If there’s one X account that conducts in-depth analysis of scams and hacks it’s ZachXBT. I strongly recommend following him if you want to stay informed about the latest hacks in the space.
🆒 Cool Stuff from the Week
🎧 Podcast episode I’m listening to:
Last week, I talked about a podcast featuring Elon Musk. This week, I've been listening to another podcast with Elon, this time in conversation with Lex Friedman. This discussion is quite different – both interesting and funny! I really enjoyed it. If you're curious about how SpaceX ended up 'kidnapping' a seal 🦭 and subjecting it to ultrasonic shocks 😅, you should definitely check it out!
📱 Cool app I’m using
"I recently sought recommendations for a replacement for my Polkadot.js wallet (wallet to interact with Polkadot Blockchain ecosystem). Nova Wallet for iOS was recommended by the experts of the community, and so far it’s bean great!
🤔 Quote I’m pondering:
Sergey Nazarov is one of the most insightful thinkers in the Web3 space. I'm a big fan of his vision and what he's accomplishing with Chainlink. There's a particular quote of his that really resonated with me, especially when he discussed Blockchain versus Legacy systems:
📚 What am I reading:
Reading 'Daily Dad' by Ryan Holiday has become a part of my morning ritual. It offers 366 daily meditations focused on fatherhood. I usually read it with my morning coffee ☕.
Vitalik posted again this week so I’m slowly going through his latest post.
🫵🏻 One question for you:
Ask this to yourself whenever facing a challenging task or decision:
Thanks for reading 🙏🏻. Don’t forget to leave any feedback if you have on the comment section!
